About the piece: This painting was published as the back cover to Rex Mundi #2 (Image Comics).
Genevieve stands with the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. Of the Sephiroth (Divine Attributes) she obscures, Wisdom is at her head, Mercy is on her lips, and she hides Victory under her hand. The snake, entwined with the Tree, represents the bearer of truth, as well as the introduction of temptation.
